Patient Services

Cross Hills Group Practice provides a full range of services to our registered patients.

The following services are available to patients:

Easy access to healthcare: bookable and urgent appointments each day
Advice on preventing illness
Vaccinations and immunisations (children, public health, influenza and pneumococcal, travel)
Health Promotion
Long-term condition management - heart disease, hypertension, asthma, chronic lung disease, diabetes, mental health, cancer, hypothyroidism, kidney disease, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, strokes/transient ischaemic attacks (TIA)
Cervical screening
Contraceptive services (including IUD fitting)
Weight management
Child health surveillance
Maternity medical service
Smoking cessation
Post-hospital wound care and suture removal
Minor injury services
Minor surgery
Alcohol related risk reduction
New patient screening check
Anticoagulation monitoring

	TEST RESULTS		Out-Of-Hours Medical Care

	Please call the results line between 1pm - 2pm.		If you need emergency medical care outside
			normal surgery hours call the Health Centre
	If a Doctor has asked you to have a blood test or urine		as normal and your call will be automatically
	test you should ring this line to receive the results		redirected to out of hours service
	approximately 3-4 days after your test was done.
